Injuries Continue to Mount for Nebraska Football

For Nebraska’s football team, the season-ending injury hits just keep coming.
Coach Matt Rhule announced yesterday that offensive linemen Ethan Piper will have knee surgery and Turner Corcoran will have foot surgery. Both were injured in last Saturday’s win over Northwestern, as was receiver Billy Kemp who Rhule said will be out multiple weeks with a sprained knee.
Nebraska has its Homecoming game this Saturday against Purdue, with the kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. It was also announced Monday the Huskers game at Michigan State next Saturday will kick off at 11 a.m.
