Illinois All-State Forward Commits to NU Women’s Hoops

A standout prep girls basketball player from Illinois has committed to Nebraska. Amiah Hargrove from Christopher, Illinois announced her decision yesterday on Twitter.
As a junior last season, the 6-foot-2 forward led Christopher to a 31-4 record and to its first ever appearance in the state title game. Hargrove averaged almost 25 points and more than nine rebounds per contest, earning All-State honors.
She reportedly also had offers from other top Midwest programs, including Creighton, Missouri and Marquette.
