Hutmacher, Blackshirts Had Fun as Huskers Beat Northwestern
Saturday’s 17-9 win over Northwestern marked the first time Nebraska’s defense has held two consecutive opponents to less than 10 points since 2010.
The Blackshirts piled up 13 tackles for loss, including eight sacks. Nash Hutmacher led the way with 2.5 sacks.
“It was really fun out there today,” Hutmacher said. “The entire defense was flying around.”
The Huskers are now 4-3 on the season and 2-2 in the Big Ten. Nebraska has its Homecoming game this Saturday against Purdue, with the kickoff set for 2:30 p.m.
