Huskers, Bluejays Win Several Weekly Volleyball Awards

In college volleyball, Nebraska’s Merritt Beason was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday, while Bergen Reilly earned the league’s Setter of the Week honor.
Three Creighton players swept the Big East weekly awards. Kiana Schmitt was named Offensive Player, Kendra Wait was the Defensive Player and Sydney Breissinger won Freshman of the Week.
In the AVCA Top 25, the Huskers stayed at No. 1 while the Bluejays climbed two spots to 15th.
