Husker Women’s Hoops Rolls in Season Opener

The Nebraska women’s basketball team jumped to a 16-0 lead on its way to a 90-42 season-opening rout of Northwestern State Monday afternoon at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The Huskers had a 46-12 lead by halftime. Jaz Shelley had a game-high 17 points and five other Huskers scored in double figures.
NU visits Wyoming Friday night.
