Husker Volleyball Extends Season-Opening Win Streak Sunday

In college volleyball, Nebraska recorded a sweep at Rutgers on Sunday.
The Huskers won 25-15, 25-20, 25-18. NU improved to 23-0, equaling the 2006 Huskers’ start to the season. In 2005, Nebraska won its first 28 matches. This year’s streak almost ended last Friday, but the Huskers rallied from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 at Penn State.
The Big Red will host Northwestern Wednesday night.
