Husker Volleyball Downs Bluejays in Four Sets

The Nebraska volleyball team defeated rival Creighton 3-1 last night at the Devaney Sports Center.
The 4th-ranked Huskers beat the No. 16 Bluejays 25-9, 25-13, 23-25, 25-20. NU’s Merritt Beason had a team-high 17 kills with seven digs and three blocks. The Jays played without two-time All-American Norah Sis, who missed the match with a strained ab.
Nebraska, which had swept each of its first five opponents, improved to 6-0. Creighton slipped to 5-2.
