Haarberg To Keep Starting Role, Oct. 28 Game Another 2:30 Kickoff

Nebraska’s Heinrich Haarberg will keep his starting quarterback role even though Jeff Sims has recovered from his ankle injury.

Coach Matt Rhule delivered that news as he met with the media yesterday in advance of Saturday’s game against Northwestern.  “We’ll play with Heinrich for now,” Rhule said.  “Jeff is ready to go on a moment’s notice.  We mix him in with the ones a lot in practice….I have no problem with the way he works.  But to me, Heinrich’s played well.”

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.  The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.

The Huskers will again have a 2:30 p.m. kickoff time for their October 28th Homecoming game against Purdue.  The Big Ten announced the kickoff time on Monday.
