Nebraska quarterback Heinrich Haarberg improved to 2-0 as a starter, leading the Huskers to a 28-14 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
Despite having one long touchdown run called back by a penalty, Haarberg had 157 of NU’s 312 rushing yards. The highlight was Haarberg’s 72-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter that pushed Nebraska’s lead to 28-7. The Bulldogs scored after an almost hour-long lightning delay to account for the final score.
The Huskers improved to 2-2 with their second straight win.
