Frost Believes in Martinez, Says Players Will “Keep Battling”

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost said he believes in quarterback Adrian Martinez.
During his appearance on “Sports Nightly” aired on News Talk 900 KJSK last night, Frost said he and Martinez have been having conversations and will continue to have them about whether the QB will return to the Huskers next season. Martinez is expected to announce his decision at the end of the season.
As the Huskers prepare to play at Wisconsin tomorrow, Frost told reporters after yesterday’s practice that his players “are going to keep battling and they know how close they have been.” Saturday’s kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on KJSK. It will be joined at 2 o’clock on 93.5 The Hawk.
