Eighth-Ranked Bluejays Basketball Upset at UNLV

The eighth-ranked Creighton men’s basketball club was upset at UNLV last night.
The Bluejays fell to the Runnin’ Rebels 79-64, dropping CU’s record to 8-2. Ryan Kalkbrenner led the Jays with 22 points. He also had eight rebounds and five blocked shots. Creighton, which led the nation with better than 12.5 three-pointers per game, was just 8-of-29 on the night.
The Bluejays will host Alabama Saturday at 7 p.m. in a contest that will be broadcast on FOX.
