Eight-Man Football Scores, Next Friday’s Matchups

In Thursday’s D1 football playoffs, Shelby-Rising City shutout Elmwood-Murdock 58-0.  The Huskies will visit EMF next Friday. 

Cross County defeated Wisner-Pilger 52-22.  The Cougars will host Perkins County in the second round.  Clarkson/Leigh got by Johnson County Central 38-34 and next will play at North Platte St. Patrick’s.  Riverside fell at Elkhorn Valley 50-20 as the Chargers finished 5-4. 

In D2 action, Humphrey St. Francis downed Fullerton 40-8.  The Flyers move on to host Axtell next Friday, while the Warriors ended with a 4-5 record.  Osceola was edged by BDS 30-22 as the Bulldogs finished 7-2.  Howells-Dodge beat Bloomfield 34-6.  The Jaguars visit Ainsworth in round two.  And Central Valley rolled Wausa 62-28, with the Cougars set to host BDS next week.
