Discoverers Softball Shaded at Omaha Westside

Columbus High’s softball club dropped a 3-1 decision Thursday at Omaha Westside.
The Discoverers took an early lead with a first inning run, but the Warriors scored two runs in the fourth and added an insurance run in the sixth inning.
The Discoverers are now 2-3 and will play in a tournament at Lincoln tomorrow.
In other action, Central City romped over St. Cecilia 13-1 and North Bend Central was edged by Pierce 6-5.
