Discoverers Softball is Swept in Season-Opening Twinbill

The Columbus High softball team dropped both ends of a season-opening doubleheader yesterday at Lincoln North Star.
In the first game, Columbus took a 5-4 lead into the bottom of the seventh, but the Navigators rallied to score three runs for a walk-off 7-5 victory.
North Star scored 10 runs in the first inning of the nightcap and won 12-0 in three innings.
