Columbus High’s baseball team dropped its season opener, falling to Maroon Cup rival Norfolk 3-2 at Pawnee Park last night.
The Discoverers led 2-1 going into the seventh inning, but the Panthers rallied for two runs and the win.
Columbus plays its first road game of the season today, as the Discoverers visit Seward.
