D-Lineman Lenhardt Credits Mom for His Work Ethic

He may only be a freshman, but Nebraska defensive lineman Cameron Lenhardt is making an impact on the Huskers defense.
Lenhardt had two of NU’s eight sacks last Saturday at Colorado. Lenhardt met with the media after yesterday’s practice and credited his mom for his work ethic.
“I’m from Staten Island, New York,” Lenhardt said. “We’ve got a toughness to us. Growing up I was always raised about toughness and grit. My mom has a serious work ethic, so I really took after that.”
The Huskers play their home opener against Northern Illinois on Saturday. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. The pregame starts at 2 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 5:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
