CU Women Win Opener, Men’s Lid-Lifter is Tonight

The Creighton women’s basketball club never trailed in a 72-52 season-opening win over North Dakota State last night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
CU’s Lauren Jensen scored 15 of her game-high 23 points in the second half. The Bluejays will host South Dakota Friday morning at D.J. Sokol Arena.
Creighton’s men tip off their season tonight when the Jays host Florida A&M at CHI Health Center.
