CU Ranked No. 8 in Both Men’s Basketball Preseason Polls

The Creighton men’s basketball team is ranked No. 8 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today coaches preseason poll.
It’s the highest ranking ever for the Bluejays in either poll. CU was ranked ninth in both preseason polls last year.
In the AP rankings, Kansas is No. 1 with Duke second. The Jayhawks also top the coaches poll, just in front of Purdue.
Creighton will host Wayne State in an exhibition game on November 3rd, before tipping off the regular season with a November 7th home game against Florida A&M.
