CU Plays Oregon, Former Coach in NCAA Tourney’s Second Round

Creighton’s men’s basketball team will face Oregon, guided by former Bluejays coach Dana Altman Saturday in the second round of the NCAA basketball tournament.
No. 11 Creighton posted a 77-60 win over Akron in yesterday’s opening round, while Altman’s Ducks defeated South Carolina 87-73.
The Jays are 24-9 and are seeking their third Sweet 16 appearance in the past four seasons when they face Oregon tomorrow. Saturday’s tipoff in Pittsburgh is set for 8:40 p.m. The game will be televised on TBS.
