Crumley, Wemhoff Both Win Two Gold Medals Saturday
Dylan Crumley and Liz Wemhoff of the Columbus High track and field team each won a pair of gold medals at Saturday’s Concordia Invite.
In the boys’ meet, Crumley was first in the 60-meter dash and won the long jump with a school record of 22-feet-8.5-inches. Other boys gold medal winners included Cooper Buxton in the shot put and Heath Dahlke in the 400 meters.
Wemhoff won the 60-meter dash and the 200 meters where she set a meet record with a time of 25.55 seconds.
The Columbus boys finished second while the girls were third in the team standings.
