Creighton Soccer Squads Both Win Exhibition Matches

Both Creighton soccer clubs picked up exhibition victories over the weekend.
The Bluejays men opened their exhibition season Saturday night with a 4-0 home win over Northern Illinois. CU will play its second of three exhibitions on Wednesday evening, when the Jays host Drake.
The Creighton women’s soccer team edged Omaha 2-1 in their lone exhibition match last Friday. Thursday’s season opener against Nebraska is set for 6 p.m. at Morrison Stadium.
