Columbus Softball Goes 1-3 in HAC Tournament

In prep softball, Columbus went 1-3 in the Heartland Athletic Conference tournament at Lincoln on Saturday.
The Discoverers beat Lincoln Southeast 11-8, but lost to Grand Island 12-9, were edged by Norfolk 9-8 and were shaded by Fremont 6-5. CHS is 12-20 on the year.
Meanwhile, Lakeview is hosting the B-7 subdistrict tourney on Monday.
