Columbus Mayor Jim Bulkley Set To Run For Re-Election

COLUMBUS- After eight years and two consecutive terms, Jim Bulkley is announcing he will aim to retain his position as Columbus’ mayor in the November general election.

With help from Bulkley’s leadership throughout the last eight years, the City of Columbus has: Expanded its parks and recreation department by providing and coordinating its facilities while increasing public amenities; Ensured continued maintenance and necessary upgrades to City infrastructure, including roads and utilities; Worked to address the local housing shortage by using discretionary funds to purchase the ground and develop infrastructure; Overseen the construction of the voter-approved Columbus Community Building, and Improved public safety with new and voter-approved Columbus Police and Fire departments.
