Columbus Girls Tennis Wins Season Opener in Lincoln

The Columbus High girls tennis team opened its season yesterday with a 7-2 road win over Lincoln Northwest.
Taylor Loontjer won her #1 singles match 8-4 and Maggie Luebbe won 8-2 in #2 singles. They combined on an 8-2 victory in doubles. Carley Kapels won her singles match 8-1 and teamed with Sage Warner on an 8-3 triumph in doubles.
Alyn Estrada-Morales and Makara Beringer each posted 8-1 wins in singles.
