Class B Girls and Boys Singles Results in State Tourney

The four-day NSAA state bowling tournament began Monday with Class B girls and boys singles.

No area bowler finished in the top eight during qualifying at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln to advance to the championship bracket.  Lakeview’s Jordyn Loseke, who was the first in program history to make state, rolled a 490 series to finish 25th out of 30 girls in qualifying.

The area bowler who came closest to advancing to the girls championship round was Serenity Strong of Boone Central.  Her 587 was good for 10th.  In boys singles, Noah Stone of Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family was 11th after a 676.

Since the  Bulldogs boys and girls teams won district titles last week, they’ll compete in today’s Class B team tournament.
