City Crews Still Working To Clear Columbus Roads

COLUMBUS- City of Columbus crews continue cleanup of hazardous roads throughout Columbus in the aftermath of recent winter storms, and are reminding residents to be safe when traveling through town.

All streets and avenues in town have been plowed multiple times, City Public Works Director Chuck Sliva said. Alleys have been plowed and continue to be. Road graders on Tuesday were out trying to cut snow and ice pack on major streets, avenues and the snow routes as temps, snow and ice pack allows. Sliva said crews are also out addressing line of site piles at intersections where needed.

The public works director added crews went into the downtown district Tuesday night to do more cleanup.
