CHS Girls Soccer Wins, Boys Downed at Wilderness Park

The Columbus High girls soccer team continued its excellent defensive play in a 3-0 victory over Lincoln High Thursday.
The Discoverers did not give up a single shot on goal while their offense made 20 shots on goal. Charli Preister scored two goals for CHS, which posted its seventh shutout and improved to 8-3.
The Discoverers boys also played at Wilderness Park, getting edged by rival Norfolk 2-1. The loss evened Columbus’ record at 5-5.
