CHS Boys on Road, Girls at Home as HAC Hoops Tourney Opens

The Columbus High boys basketball team will open the Heartland Athletic Conference tournament on the road, while the Discoverers girls will play their first game at home this Friday.
The bracket released yesterday has the CHS boys seeded 12th. They’ll visit fifth-seeded Lincoln Southeast Friday evening. Columbus is seeded No. 6 in the girls tourney and will host No. 11 seed Fremont on Friday.
The tournament will then be suspended by the NSAA moratorium before resuming on Thursday, December 28th.
