Central City/Fullerton Out, PWG 2-0 in Junior Legion State Tourneys

The Central City/Fullerton Juniors are out of the Class B state tournament, while Palmer-Wohlbach-Greeley is 2-0 in Class C.
In the Class B juniors tourney at Alliance, Central City/Fullerton was downed by Wahoo 10-5 on Saturday and was edged by Holdrege 4-3 yesterday.
PWG topped Tecumseh 3-1 in Saturday’s opening round of the Class C tournament in Imperial, then out-slugged DCB 10-9 in eight innings on Sunday. PWG is set to meet Malcolm in a matchup of 2-0 teams tonight.
