Cardinal, Vols Heading to Omaha for College World Series

Stanford and Tennessee became the final two teams to punch their tickets to Omaha last night for the College World Series.
Stanford claimed a 7-6 walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth against Texas when a pop fly was apparently lost in the lights and dropped in right-center to score the winning run from second.
After a four-hour rain delay, Tennessee blanked Southern Miss 5-0.
The CWS begins Friday with TCU taking on Oral Roberts and Florida playing Virginia in Bracket 1. Saturday’s Bracket 2 games pit Wake Forest against Stanford and LSU vs. Tennessee.
