Brezenski Scores Five Goals for Girls, Boys Win Shootout

Both Scotus soccer teams posted wins on Monday.
Emma Brezenski scored five goals and had one assist leading the Shamrocks to an 8-0 victory at Omaha Concordia. Scotus evened its record at 2-2.
The Shamrocks boys prevailed in a shootout at Council Bluffs St. Albert to win 1-0, upping Scotus’ record to 2-3. At the end of regulation and overtime score was 0-0. In the first round of penalty kicks, each team made 3 shots. Josh Bixenmann of Scotus then saved a shot by St. Albert and Alex Medina made his to give the ‘Rocks the 1-0 victory
The boys match scheduled for today against Blair at Wilderness Park has been postponed.
