Both CU Hoops Teams Second in Big East Preseason Polls

Both the Creighton men’s and women’s basketball teams have been picked to finish second in the Big East.
The conference’s coaches preseason polls were unveiled Tuesday as part of Big East Media Day at Madison Square Garden. The Bluejays men were the runner-up to Marquette, while the women trailed only UConn.
Trey Alexander and Ryan Kalkbrenner were named to the All-Big East first team, while their Jays teammate Baylor Scheierman was a second-team selection.
CU women players Lauren Jensen, Morgan Maly and Emma Ronsiek all earned preseason All-Big East Team honors.
