Boone Central, Howells-Dodge Play in State Football Semifinals

Two area high school football teams are still alive heading into this Friday’s semifinals.
Boone Central is 11-0 after a 56-7 romp over Auburn in the C1 quarterfinals. The Cardinals will host Ashland-Greenwood this Friday at 7 p.m. on KZ-100.
Howells-Dodge improved to 9-2 with a 36-28 home win over previously unbeaten Dundy County Stratton. The Jaguars will visit undefeated Wynot in Friday’s D2 semifinals.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk. The Blue Devils got by Howells-Dodge 32-26 in Wynot on September 8th.
