Bluejays Battle Akron in “Big Dance” This Afternoon

Third-seeded Creighton will make its 25th appearance in school history in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament today.
The Bluejays meet No. 14 seed Akron in the Midwest Regional in Pittsburgh. Tipoff is set for 12:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on TNT.
On Wednesday, Creighton’s Baylor Scheierman earned two more All-American honors. The senior guard was recognized as a third team All-American by both the United States Basketball Writers Association and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
