Bluejays Baseball Holds Off Late Rally by Mavericks

After taking a 7-1 lead in the top of the eighth, Creighton baseball hung on for a 7-6 win over Omaha last night.
The victory pushed the Bluejays to 24-5 on the season, while the Mavericks fell to 8-21.
The Jays open a weekend series at Xavier Friday. The Mavs will be back in action at Tal Anderson Field Friday night as they open a series against South Dakota State.
