Baseball: NU Goes 2-1, CU Posts Sweep

In college baseball, Nebraska stayed in first place in the Big Ten by routing Maryland 14-3 yesterday at Haymarket Park. 

The Huskers took two of three games from the Terrapins.  NU is now 15-6 and will visit Penn State this weekend. 

Creighton swept visiting Villanova, as the Bluejays outscored the Wildcats 27-2 in the three-game series.  That included an 8-0 victory on Sunday. 

The Jays are 9-7 on the season and 3-0 in the Big East.  CU hosts UConn this weekend.
