Badstieber, Faltys, Kavan Earn Medals in State Cross Country

In last Friday’s state cross country meets, Elle Badstieber of Lakeview finished 10th in the Class C girls race.
Two Scotus girls earned medals, with Mary Faltys placing 12th and Emilyn Kavan 15th. In the team standings, the Shamrocks were fifth and Lakeview was 15th.
Jude Maguire of Scotus was 71st in the boys’ run.
In the Class A girls 5K, Columbus’ Melissa Gomez-Vazquez took 28th while her Discoverers teammate Hailey Kropatsch was 93rd.
