AD Trev Alberts’ Salary is Doubled Under New Contract

Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts has received a new contract that will double his salary and keep him in Lincoln through 2031.

University president Ted Carter made the announcement yesterday, pointing to several major achievements in Husker athletics since Alberts took the helm in 2021.  That included the historic Volleyball Day and the hiring of head football coach Matt Rhule.

Alberts’ annual base salary will go from $800,000 to $1.7 million, increasing to $2.1 million in 2026.
