Columbus Baseball Club Picks Up First Win of Season

Columbus High’s baseball team beat Omaha Burke 10-3 Saturday at Pawnee Park.
Grant Zoucha went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and three runs. Discoverers starter Alex Griffith allowed one unearned run in five innings and reliever Cade Wurdeman gave up two runs, both unearned, over the final two frames.
Columbus, which had its game Friday at Seward postponed, is 1-1. The Discoverers visit Lincoln Southwest today.
