Zegarowski POY, CU Men’s Hoops Picked For 2nd in Big East

Creighton guard Marcus Zegarowski was named today as the preseason Big East Player of the Year.  And the Creighton men’s basketball team was picked to finish second in the conference this season. 

Bluejays guard Mitch Ballock was also voted as a Preseason Second-Team All-Big East selection by the league’s coaches. 

Big East officials also announced that Creighton will play four conference games in mid-December, beginning on the 14th with a home game against Marquette.  The Jays will have road games at St. John’s (Dec. 17) and UConn (Dec. 20) before returning to Omaha to play Xavier on December 23rd. 

The rest of the conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
