Zegarowski is Honorable Mention Preseason All-American

Creighton basketball’s Marcus Zegarowski has been named an Honorable Mention Preseason All-American by the Associated Press. 

The junior guard is the first Bluejay to receive preseason All-American acclaim by the AP since Doug McDermott earned First Team preseason accolades in 2012 and 2013. 

Zegarowski had the seventh-most votes with 22, four votes shy of earning the final spot on the First Team. 

He averaged more than 16 points and 5 assists per game last season.
