Nebraska softball’s Cam Ybarra has collected another postseason honor. The Huskers senior was named a third-team All-American yesterday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
The second baseman was earlier named a first-team All-Midwest Region and a first-team All-Big Ten player. Ybarra was also the Most Outstanding Player of the Big Ten tournament after she drove in the game-winning run in Nebraska’s championship game victory over Michigan.
Also on Wednesday, NU pitcher Courtney Wallace won a Rawlings Gold Glove Award as the top fielding pitcher in the nation.
