Wrestling Results for Lakeview Boys and Columbus Girls

Lakeview’s boys wrestling team finished sixth out of eight squads competing in the Duke Duals at York last Friday. 

The Vikings dropped their first three matches, getting edged by Central City 39-36, then falling to Waverly 55-17 and being downed by Grand Island Northwest 45-32.  Lakeview won its final two matches, getting by Schuyler 42-39 and defeating Crete 47-34. 

Meanwhile, the Columbus girls grapplers placed 14th out of 24 clubs in last Friday’s Fillmore Central Invite. 

Natalie Cruz had the best day for the Discoverers, earning second place at 115 pounds.
