Wrestling: Lakeview Wins Invite, Aquinas Champs at State Duals

In boys wrestling, Lakeview won the Clarkson-Leigh Invite last Friday.
Four Vikings placed first, including Gerber Recinos, Miggy Cullum, Yordi Dominguez and Landon Ternus. The host Patriots took fourth, East Butler was sixth and Howells-Dodge was ninth out of 14 teams.
On Saturday, Aquinas was the Class D champion in the state dual wrestling championships at Kearney. Shelby-Rising City was fourth out of the eight teams in Class D. St. Paul finished third in Class C, while Schuyler tied for eighth in Class B.
