Women’s Hoops: Bluejays, Huskers Post Victories
In women’s basketball, Creighton hit a school and Big East record 22 three-pointers in a 96-49 romp over Butler Sunday.
The home win pushed the Bluejays’ record to 18-7 overall and 13-4 in the conference. The Jays will visit St. John’s on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, Jaz Shelley scored 21 points, hitting five three-pointers, as Nebraska rolled to an 82-63 victory at Illinois. NU upped its record to 18-6, 7-6 in the conference.
The Huskers will host Indiana tonight. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. and the contest will be televised on BTN.
