Women’s Basketball Notes for Creighton, Nebraska

The Creighton women’s basketball club moved up two spots to a tie for 16th in this week’s AP poll.
The 8-1 Bluejays are tied with 7-1 Oregon in that spot. The Nebraska women’s squad, which is 8-3 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten received one vote.
Also yesterday, the Huskers’ Jaz Shelley earned a spot on the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll. Shelley scored 31 points in NU’s 82-54 pounding of Wisconsin and had 15 points and six assists in a 71-46 victory over Samford.
