Wilson Tabbed Big East Softball Player of Week

Creighton’s Kailey Wilson earned this season’s final Big East Softball Player of the Week honor yesterday.
Wilson went 6-for-8 with three home runs and seven RBI, while starting all three of the Bluejays games against DePaul last weekend.
The junior led the Jays this season with a .436 batting average, the second highest in school history and the best since 1978. Creighton ended the season with a 15-27 record and went 5-17 in Big East action.
