Wiegert Again on College Football Hall of Fame Ballot
Former Nebraska All-American and Outland Trophy winner Zach Wiegert is again on the College Football Hall of Fame Ballot. It was released yesterday and includes 78 players – including a seventh appearance by Wiegert – and seven coaches.
The former Husker offensive tackle won the Outland Trophy in 1994, when he was a first-team All-American. He helped lead Nebraska to the national championship that season.
His NFL career spanned 12 years with the St. Louis Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans.
