Whitish Join’s NU’s 1,000-Point Club in Win

Nebraska’s Hannah Whitish joined the Huskers’ 1,000-point club during a 73-39 romp over Southern last night at Pinnacle Bank Arena. 

Whitish hit a 15-foot jumper coming out of the first media timeout to become the 33rd Husker in history to reach the milestone. The senior guard finished with eight points, five rebounds and five assists as NU improved to 5-0.  In all five contests, Leigha Brown has scored in double figures. She had a game-high 16 points last night.

Nebraska hosts in-state rival Creighton on Sunday at 2 p.m.
