Whipple Calls Wolverines Fast, Physical and Confident

Nebraska visits Michigan on Saturday for a football game between two tradition-rich programs.

The Huskers are just 3-6 this season, while the third-ranked Wolverines are 9-0 and No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings.  Michigan leads the all-time series 6-4-1, including a 32-29 win last year in Lincoln.

After NU’s practice yesterday, offensive coordinator Mark Whipple said going to Michigan is no easy task.  “They’re fast, physical and have a solid scheme they believe in and play with a lot of confidence,” Whipple said.  “We’ve got to, far and away, put our best game together on offense.”

Saturday’s kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.  The pregame begins at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
